The rule in one sentence: No refund is due after an audit has been completed and the report has been delivered, except where mandatory law gives you a remedy.
1. Scope
This policy applies to one-time website scans, ongoing monitoring plans, and custom accessibility audits sold by Awedesk, Inc. through EAA Clarity. It does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
2. Before work starts
Contact us as soon as possible if you ordered the wrong service or need to cancel. If work has not started, we will cancel and refund the order where required by this policy or applicable law.
3. After work starts but before delivery
If work has started, any refund may be reduced to reflect the work already performed and costs already committed. For an EU consumer who expressly requested early performance and then withdraws before full completion, the amount payable is a proportionate amount based on the service provided up to the withdrawal notice.
4. After the audit is delivered
An audit is complete when the agreed scan or testing has been performed and the report is sent by email or made available in the client portal. At that point, the service has been fully performed. We do not provide a change-of-mind refund because the report has been generated and delivered for the selected website and scope.
This does not affect a remedy required by law if we fail to deliver the service or the delivered report materially departs from the agreed scope. Contact us promptly and give us a reasonable opportunity to correct a delivery or scope problem.
5. Monitoring subscriptions
You can cancel future renewals of a monthly or annual monitoring plan through the client portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. We do not refund a current period or a scan already completed and delivered, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
6. EU consumer withdrawal rights
If you buy as a consumer, meaning for purposes mainly outside your trade or profession, you generally have 14 days from the contract date to withdraw from an online service contract without giving a reason.
Because EAA Clarity promises delivery within 24 hours, checkout asks you to expressly request that performance begin during that 14-day period. Once the audit is fully performed and the report is delivered, after your prior express request and acknowledgement, the statutory withdrawal right ends. If you withdraw after requesting an early start but before full performance, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work already performed.
Business customers do not have the consumer withdrawal right unless applicable law says otherwise.
7. How to cancel or withdraw
Use our contact form and include the order number and purchase email. A consumer may use any clear statement of withdrawal or the model wording below.
